About Us

Browns Point Adult Family Home, established in 2004 by Loy and Amelita Saarenas, is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that embodies a profound sense of “family and home” for both residents and their loved ones. Our fundamental belief is that every resident deserves a home where they experience comfort, respect, and love. Two decades since its beginning, the home faithfully upholds these principles.  

In 2024, Jordan Swenddal, the eldest granddaughter of Loy and Amelita, joined the business, contributing her efforts to sustain a secure haven for the loved ones of our communities.  

Our commitment revolves around the core values of compassionate care, safety, and superior quality of life for all residents within our home. We have successfully completed DSHS-approved training for mental illness, dementia, and hospice care. With 24-hour awake staff and caregivers who are HCA trained, we ensure a high standard of support.
